We specialize in all African textured hair types, catering to the full spectrum of Locc care needs from the ground up. From starter Loccs and routine maintenance to styling and everything in between, we support every stage of your Locc journey. BOOKING POLICY
Advance Booking
All appointments must be booked and confirmed at least 6 hours in advance to secure your slot.
Deposit Requirement
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. In the event of a cancellation by the client, this deposit will not be returned. The deposit is also forfeited if the client arrives more than 30 minutes late.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation by the client, please notify us at least 6 hours before your appointment. Cancellations made after this window will result in the loss of your deposit.
Booking Confirmation
Your booking is only considered confirmed once 100% of the agreed transportation fee and the 30% service deposit have been paid in full.

Start on clean hair that’s at least 2 – 4 inches long and book with a loctician who understands African-textured hair. Choose a method – comb coiling, two-strand twists, or interlocking – based on your hair type and the look you’re going for. Expect some frizz and unravelling in the early weeks. It’s all part of the process.
How long does it take for Loccs to mature? - the stages and timeline.
Typically 18 months to 3 years. The stages are starter (0–6 months), budding (6–12 months), teen (12–18 months), and mature (18+ months). Coarser textures tend to lock faster than looser curl patterns.
How often should I get my loccs retwisted? — frequency based on hair type and growth.
Every 4–6 weeks is standard. Fine hair may need it sooner; coarser hair can go longer. Over-retwisting puts repeated tension on the roots and can lead to thinning over time — so don’t rush it.
Will Loccs damage my hair? - addressing the myth.
Not when done correctly. Damage comes from installing too tight, over-retwisting, or heavy product buildup — not Loccs themselves. Done right, Loccs are one of the most protective styles for African-textured hair.
